Placing Leaders and Tiles
Leaders are the basic building blocks of Euphrat & Tigris. Any region on the board which contains at least one leader is considered a kingdom.
Drag a leader from your hand (or from the board to reposition it) and drop it over the space where you wish to place it.
Leaders can only be placed in empty spaces that are adjacent to Temples (not diagonally). They also cannot be played on river spaces nor can they be used to join two kingdoms (more on that later).
If a leader's last adjacent temple is ever removed from the board then that leader will be placed back in the owning player's hand.
