Yep. Perhaps we should ask in other languages...

I think, that before they add that feature, that they should fix the issue about me gaining 62 experience points when I partner with an expert, follow his lead, and get a win on the expert's coattails.

Meanwhile, when I win a 1v1 game, I only get 50 points!

Let's fix that issue first!

Why would that be an issue for you; you got 62 experience points? Besides,I would make the argument that one can gain more useful experience by partnering with an expert and focusing on one power than one would by playing a complete game by oneself. I never saw the power of a KJF until I saw my partner Kanino execute one so effectively as the US/Russia. He also gave me advice on how to go toe-to-toe with the Germans as the UK.

In short, it is the best way on GTO to safely watch an expert at work.

I see your point & now understand the reasoning behind my only gaining 50 XPs when I win a 1v1 game against a player 9 levels higher than me, but gain 62 XPs when I partner my Expert partner, follow his lead & we beat 2 guys rated around advanced [15] [7 levels lower than me & many lower than my go2Expert for 2v2 games].

Even though when I partner, I make my moves [say as Germany] however, before they are finalized, my expert partner gives it the thumbs up or has me adjust accordingly.

I may have had little to do with the win, however, I did gain a lot of experience.

Yes, 62 XPs is 24% more than 50, & after thinking about it, I see how my level of experience when partnering with my expert friend does result in 24% more experience.

For instance, in the last game I played with my partner, he was Japan & I got to see him in action with Japan. I think what I learned was definitely a bonus to my gaming experience. Is it worth 24% more in experience points than when I win a 1v1 against an evenly skilled opponent? Could be.

Now if my partner was partnering with a novice or intermediate who do not understand the tactic my partner used, then it's probably worth more than 24% more in XPs. In my case, I use the same strategy he does with Japan, I just learned where mine needs some tweaking.

On the flip side of the coin though, when I play an expert 1v1 & he hits me with a pacific campaign & I talk about his strat into my hand recorder as the game progresses, but lose the game, I gain quite a bit of experience also, even though I lose 25 pts, but game credit for one more lost game fought to the death if I don't surrender.

We can look at it this way: I have 313 wins. 20 is the most game I could possibly have won in a multi [and that is really stretchin' it cause 98.5% of my games have been 1v1] so that's 293 1v1 wins.

If I had played nothing but multi games, that would be 293 wins * 12 xtra XPs = 3516 XP points added to my total

That would put my total XPs at 15,065, make me an Advanced [25] level player & only 935 XPs from reaching Expert.

Not currently but we might add this feature in the future. Our games were initially built to simulate the tabletop experience in real-time play so PBE play was a later addition.

This is because when we created the GTO experience system, we did not take into account team based games so the system views a 2 vs 2 game as a 4 player game and the winners divide the points for 1st and 2nd place. When we we overhaul the experience system, we will have to deal with that. That is not an enviable project as we want to build for the future without tossing out the past.

The past would remain as a reference.

The past is the past with all due respect.

Anyone who cares about ratings and records should not care about a reset.

The only place that may kind of matter would be career wins and losses. It could be a segregated / cumulative total of sorts. Total wins on game.

The rating is artificial - as is the wins ratio.

If the "smurfs" that pick on weak player's only got 1 point for a win and could lose 50...
A) they would not play that game
B) they would never have a good rate (Would require 50X more wins if they never lose)

I would reset my experience rating in a second to attain real ratings. As I am sure most active player's would.

Also a 2v2 with UTZ would be more interesting as taking a lower ranked player would
A) provide a greater challenge
B) provide more points on rating for a win
C) cost you less if you lose
= you have more fun playing and causes more balances games.

Then you would get experts vs experts and noobs vs noobs - and good mix of partner's with higher risk and reward!

ps. I want to keep my acheivements!

A dice roll history might be a nice extra added in along with a turn counter or battle/turn recapper.
