why nobody writes a book about A&A strategies?

Postby westwall » Tue Oct 04, 2011 10:52 pm

Hi A&A players and lovers,

I have been reading this game forums for years and it seems like many of us have so many to say about this A&A game. How come no one pulls together all these strategies and game scenarios into a book? As so much have already been written on this forum, someone can definitely put this material into good use. I am not a story teller, that person is definite not me.

Thanks

No promises to the quality of the strategies. I think there aren't more books about A&A strategy is that outside of the gamer world, it is really not that well known a game.

I don't think anyone has the time or patience to do it. However, if you publish a book, it would not be hard to have everything sorted by "chapter," and, since the discussions in the strategy forums tend to follow a general flow, it would all make sense to just leave them unformatted.

It's just not worth it. It's too involved. To understand the strategies used by the best players one has to know the game so well that they can understand, appreciate and adapt their own strategies. Madness!
