Turbo Hearts Tournament: 9pm EST November 23rd 2011

Take heart (or give them) on this holiday thanksgiving eve. Gametable Online will be hosting a Turbo Hearts tournament on Wednesday, November 23rd at 9PM US Eastern Standard Time (GMT -5).

The tournament format will have to be determined by the number of players but ideally it will be 4 rounds of round-robin play with an entry fee of 5 GTO Coins for each sit-n-go table. Each round will alternate between the basic rules set, and the turbo rules. To determine the round-robin scores I will use the match scoring system from the 2009 Grand Prix of Hearts with players earning 6, 3, 2, or 1 tournament points based on their order of finish. The top 4 players will then face off in a final playoff match and receive GTO Points as a reward (in addition to those won for winning sit-n-go tables). Expect to spend 20 GTO Coins to play all rounds in the tournament.

Also up for grabs is the "Toilet Trophy" which will be played out in a "Toilet Bowl" round by those not qualifying for the final playoff match.

If you want to learn the game, I will be in Gathering Place at 7pm to hold tutorial sessions.

No Toilet Trophy round was played in this event.
