Hi,
I've just noticed that in a bunch of A&A games where I didn't force an absent foe to surrender after the timeout period the game ended itself after a while and the result was recorded as a loss in my stats? Is that right? Do I need to start being a lot less patient with opponents?

Look at your completed games list if the games in question have "surrendered" next to them then you either surrendered or you were force surrendered. If you can launch the game it means it was completed by achieving Victory.
Some players do Force Surrender as soon as option arrives, great shame as Force surrender was interduced to stop stalling of defeats.

If someone FSs you and they were far from winning then don't play them again,if they start a game against you up to you to play it or get it nulled ASAP.

If you start FSing people as others have done to you then you just join the ranks of these scum.

Best to play games your happy you can play your turns,if you are gonna be absent for a while inform your opponent, this should prevent most from FSing you and this gives you a chance to null the game if they FS you as you ask admin to look into it.Having a "am away on holiday for 10days etc etc" is a good reason to avoid a FS loss.and of course admin can give warnings to players abusing FS in such cases.

That's not what happened though!!!
It wasn't my turn. It was the other person's turn and yet he was able to force surrender ME!

That doesn't make sense. I'm able to play my turns within the limits but now it looks like if I don't force surrender people as soon as I can they will eventually be able to force surrender ME!!!

I'll look into the matter but will need to know which game #'s you are referring to.

21487 most recently.

I think I gave Spooney more than two weeks to take his turn and he never did. I never used the force surrender but now I seem to have been force surrendered.

If it was that long what "may" have happened was when they had a crash a week or so ago once it was fixed (on many of my games) it showed the other person's turn but was actually mine once I launched....did you ever launch the game while it was showing force surrender?

The loss and surrender for game 21487 have been removed and the coins refunded.
